ReplyDeleteFIRST WHEN I SAW THE NAME OF THE MOVIE I THOUGHT OLD NAME MAY BE IT'S A MASALA MOVIE. BUT REALLY I THANK GOD THAT I GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE MOVIE WITH MY LOVABLE BETTER HALF. WE ARE ALSO LOVERS AND MARRIED NOW. OUR EYES WERE FILLED WITH TEARS FOR EACH AND EVERY CINE. WHAT A THOUGHT?? WHAT A DIRECTION ?? WHAT A SONGS AND MEANING ??. MY BETTER HALF SAID THAT "SMALL MEN AND THAT LADY PAIR" WHEN SHE HAD BIRTH CHILD LIKE HIM AND WHEN THAT OLD MAN IS ASKING WHAT A EXPLANATION ??? HATS OFF TO ALL PEOPLE WHO EVER WORKED IN THIS MOVIE. SMALL SMALL CHARACTER SPEAKS AND GIVING A MESSAGE. IF I GOT A CHANCE I WANT TO SEE THAT STORY WRITER AND DIRECTOR WHO ARE THE ROOT FOR THIS MOVIE. WHEN WE SEE MOVIE LIKE THIS I FEEL THAT STILL OUR TAMIL FILM INDUSTRY IS TRYING TO REACH PEOPLE IN REALITY AND NOT MASALA GLAMOUR . THANKS FOR THE MESSAGE U HAVE GIVEN TO THE PUBLIC. I AM SMALL TO BLESS U BUT I BLESS ALL OF U A LONG LIFE AND KEEP ON GIVING FILMS LIKE THIS. WHAT A THOUGHT ??? WHAT A WAY EACH AND EVERY SHOT TAKEN ??? I CAN KEEP ON WRITING ABOUT THIS FILM. ReplyDeleteAngadi Theru has touched a raw nerve which was till date left untouched by the film world. Vasanthabalan and his team had the guts to bring to this world the sufferings, exploitation and the vulnerability of the employees of Ranganathan Street. The most important point is that there are many characters in this movie and the success of this movie is each one distinctly stays in our minds. I do not wish to go into the details, because it will deprive you of the pleasure and shock you are going to experience after seeing this movie. The subject and the story is the hero and heroine of the movie. No compromise has been made for which I profusely thank the producers who have obviously given Vasanthabalan a free hand. As the story unfolds you are sucked into their world and thereafter it is very difficult to come out of it. We never feel the presence of a camera and that is the success of Richard Nathan. Sreekar Prasad has done an excellent job in maintaining the tempo of the movie. The novelty of using two contemporary, relatively young music directors shows in the film. Four lovely songs which effortlessly blend into the situations are a bonus. A special mention should be made regarding the dialogues by Jaymohan. They are quite natural and spoken with effortless ease by the characters mostly in the Tirunelveli dialect. All the characters have lived in this movie and for me it is an unforgettable experience. A must see for all movie lovers and good human beings.

simply superb !!! outstanding, mind blowing and description goes beyond mortal words. Superbly executed movie in all departments. Touches the human psyche and mind irrespective of class, social status, rich or poor. It clearly brings the "humanity" to the fore and we all have so well forgotten in this bizarre unethical race for money.
